Erstausgabe. Tralles war professor in 1785 für Math., Physik und Chemie an der Berner Akademie, errichtete hier das erste astronomische Observatorium, publ. «Beitrag zur Lehre von der Elektrizität», und «Lehrbuch...». Er wurde in 1804 an die Berliner Akademie berufen, starb in Hamburg. HBLS VII/35.
