‎Summary La vie d'Alexandre le Grand est longuement relatée dans les chroniques universelles françaises qui lui accordent une place majeure dans le cadre de l'histoire de l'Antiquité. Sa biographie est notamment incorporée à la Chronique dite de Baudouin d'Avesnes, composée par un écrivain anonyme entre 1278 et 1281, et à la Fleur des histoires, écrite par Jean Mansel, fonctionnaire à la cour de Bourgogne, dans les années 1440, puis remaniée et amplifiée par le même auteur dans les années 1460. Provenant du nord de la France, très lus par les lecteurs nobles de la fin du Moyen Âge, ces ouvrages constituent un corpus unifié inédit et restent un champ presque vierge pour la recherche. En insistant sur le rôle du roi macédonien dans la translatio imperii et studii, ils définissent une vision de l'histoire en marche vers le salut?; en mettant en valeur la figure d'Alexandre, ils transmettent aussi des modèles de comportement personnels et offrent un début d'individualisation du personnage. Le présent ouvrage comprend une étude de la tradition manuscrite de ces textes, une recherche sur leurs auteurs, leurs mécènes et leurs lecteurs ainsi qu'une analyse des stratégies de réécriture élaborées pour recomposer le portrait d'Alexandre et intégrer sa vie dans une histoire universelle. Nous retraçons l'histoire de la transmission manuscrite de nos chroniques, depuis les premiers possesseurs et destinataires jusqu'aux lecteurs de la fin du xve siècle et du début du xvie siècle. Sont étudiés ensuite le projet historiographique des deux auteurs et le rôle qu'y joue le récit de la vie d'Alexandre. Des Historiae adversus paganos d'Orose au Speculum historiale de Vincent de Beauvais, nos écrivains s'approprient l'héritage des histoires universelles latines et font entrer l'empire d'Alexandre dans le schéma préétabli des quatre royaumes du livre de Daniel, en l'investissant de la mission de transférer l'empire de l'Orient à l'Occident. Nous menons enfin une analyse approfondie du récit de la vie du souverain macédonien et de ses finalités, afin de comprendre comment ses réécritures contribuent au projet politico-didactique des chroniques et quelle image du héros elles cherchent à construire. ‎Summary Scriptor, Cantor & Notator is an innovative multi-author project dealing with the complex interconnections between learning, writing and performing chant in the Middle Ages. A number of different methodological approaches have been employed, with the aim of beginning to understand the phenomenon of chant transmission over a large geographical area, linking and contrasting modern definitions of East and West. Thus, in spite of this wide geographical spread, and the consequent variety of rites, languages and musical styles involved, the common thread of parallels and similarities between various chant repertoires arising from the need to fix oral repertories in a written form, and the challenges involved in so doing, are what bring this wide variety of repertoires and approaches together. Outre un calendrier et des feuillets de comput, il contient aussi plusieurs textes additionnels, expressement ajoutes par Pierre de la Jugie, et accompagne d?une iconographie qui leur est propre. L?etude des textes, du calendrier au pontifical, et de l?iconographie choisie pour les illustrer, permet de mettre en valeur la forte implication du commanditaire dans la mise en place de ce livre. Les peintures qui ornent ces pages sont l??uvre de quatre artistes qui, en depit de leurs formations differentes (Catalogne, Sud de la France, Italie) ont collabore et se sont mutuellement influences.
