‎Splendida veduta animata della Cascata delle Marmore a Terni incisa a Roma da Carlo Antonini (1740-1821) su un soggetto di Jacop Philipp Hackert (1737-1807). In basso lunga dedica al Papa Pio VI firmata da Francesco Carrara che nel 1779 presentò al Papa una dissertazione dedicata alle Cascate intitolata "La caduta del Velino nella Nera". Papa Pio VI regnò dal 1775 al 1799 ed è questo presumibilmente il periodo di stampa di questa incisione. Antonini, operativo a Roma nella seconda metà del settecento, ottenne importanti incarichi ufficiali lavorando per la calcografia della Camera Apostolica, in particolare eseguendo ritratti di Cardinali e carte delle Paludi Pontine. L'incisione è stata incollata su un cartoncino. ‎Interesting sammelband containing two rare work by German Lutheran theologian Philipp Jakob Spener both pertaining to the Spener-Pfeiffer controversy. Here Spener’s presents his response and theological defense against the attacks of August Pfeiffer who had accused Spener of dangerous innovations in theology, especially with regard to eschatology, sanctification and lay piety. Philipp Jakob Spener (1635-1705) was a prominent German Lutheran theologian, by many referred to as ""Father of Pietism"", known for founding the Pietism movement, which emphasized personal faith and piety over formal doctrinal orthodoxy.‎

‎Par le seul survivant du complot, le récit de l'opération "Walkyrie" organisée par des officiers allemands en juillet 1944 et destinée à prendre le pouvoir après l'élimination de Hitler. 18 juillet 1944 : Philipp von Boeselager, jeune officier de cavalerie de 27 ans sur le front de l'Est, prend la tête de 1200 cavaliers de la Wehrmacht. Leur objectif opérationnel, connu du seul Philipp : rejoindre la capitale et occuper les lieux de pouvoir du Reich après l'attentat contre Hitler que doit exécuter le colonel von Stauffenberg. Philipp von Boeselager est aujourd'hui le dernier survivant des conjurés du 20 juillet 1944. Elevé dans une famille aristocratique traditionnelle de Rhénanie où la liberté de jugement et le sens des responsabilités étaient la pierre angulaire de l'éducation, il s'est mis rapidement sur le chemin de la désobéissance, puis de la résistance – haute trahison pour les Allemands d'alors. Il raconte ici son itinéraire, notamment en France, puis en Union soviétique. Son témoignage jette une lumière crue sur l'aventure et la déroute de la Wehrmacht en Russie. ‎

La prima è la celebre opera "Italia Nova", la descrizione dell'Italia Antica. All'interno sono presenti cinque mappe ripiegate: quattro dell'Italia e una mappa della città di Roma. La seconda opera dedicata alla Sicilia, Sardegna e Corsica antiche. Ampia descrizione della Sicilia, di Malta e della Sardegna. All'interno sono presenti due mappe (su quattro, risultano mancanti la mappa della Sardegna e della Corsica): della Sicilia e di Malta. Cluver era un conoscitore di letteratura classica e ricevette uno speciale incarico a Leiden come geografo e responsabile della biblioteca dell'università. Per redigere l'opera della sua vita non si basò solo su fonti dell'Antichità ma anche su appunti fatti durante i suoi viaggi e visite di lavoro. Notevole fu il suo contributo per la crezione della geografia storica. Une impressions de Crato Mylius ou Kraft Müller (Sélestat, 1503-1547) qui avait été l'élève de Philippe Melanchthon à Wittenberg. Il acquit l'atelier de Georg Ulricher d'Andlau à Strasbourg en 1536 et a été alors l'imprimeur attitré de Melanchthon. Il est mort à la bataille de Mühlberg an der Elbe, en Saxe, une victoire de Charles Quint sur les troupes protestantes.
