‎Joli album réunissant 50 petits tirages albuminés de photos consacrées à lEgypte, la Jordanie, la Palestine, la Syrie et la Turquie produites par photographes orientalistes Félix Bonfils, Pascal Sebah et les frères Adullah au cours de la seconde moitié du 19éme siècle. Les noms de leurs auteurs apparaissent en blanc en bas à droite des images : Félix Bonfils (1831-1885) est installé à Beyrouth, Pascal Sébah (1823-1886) à Constantinople et latelier des frères Abdullah Frères (en turc : Abdullah Biraderler, un groupe de trois frères dorigine arménienne : Vichen (1820-1902), Hovsep (1830-1908) et Kevork Abdullahian (1839-1918) est actif au Caire de 1886 à1895. Notre album réuni 50 tirages de leurs uvres sur papier albuminé, bien contrastés, dans un format peu commun de 90 x 70 mm. A beautiful album bringing together 50 small albumen prints of photographs devoted to Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, and Turkey, produced by Orientalist photographers Félix Bonfils, Pascal Sebah, and the Adullah brothers during the second half of the 19th century. The names of the photographers appear in white at the bottom right of the images: Félix Bonfils (1831-1885) was based in Beirut, Pascal Sébah (1823-1886) in Constantinople, and the studio of the Abdullah Brothers (in Turkish: Abdullah Biraderler, a group of three brothers of Armenian origin: Vichen (1820-1902), Hovsep (1830-1908) and Kevork Abdullahian (1839-1918) was active in Cairo from 1886 to 1895. Our album brings together 50 prints of their works on albumen paper, with good contrast, in an unusual format of 90 x 70 mm.
