‎Très bel atlas manuscrit anglais de la fin du XVIIIe siècle, comportant 36 cartes et un texte savamment nuancé au lavis d'encre. L'ouvrage comprend des cartes générales et détaillées du monde, nouvelles et anciennes, ainsi qu'une carte des dix colonies d'Amérique du Nord, indiquant leur nom et leur emplacement, ainsi que l'emplacement des rivières, de Fort Pit, des monts Allegany et des chutes du Niagara. Contemporary calf, flat gilted spine, green moroco title (expertly rebacked). A very fine exemple of an end 18th century English manuscript atlas, including 36 maps + text expertly drown with ink and grey water color. The work includes new and hold world general and detailed maps, with a map of the ten northern American Colonies, giving their name and locations, as well locations of rivers, Fort Pit, Allegany mountains and Niagara falls.‎
