‎Joli album de dessins romantiques réalisés à pleine page et à même celle-ci. Lensemble est constitué de 15 portraits au crayon à papier, majoritairement tête et épaules, certains de la tête aux pieds, représentant principalement des jeunes femmes, modestes ou aisées, prenant la pose ou prise sur le vif, arborant un visage expressif ou bien soccupant denfants mais aussi des hommes en toge, en tenue militaire, en costume ou modestement vêtu. Le trait est plutôt académique, la perspective ainsi que les jeux dombre et de lumière sont bien maîtrisés. Les corps et les visages sont également bien proportionnés et fidèles. Nice album of romantic drawings made in full page and on the page itself. The set consists of 15 pencil portraits, mostly head and shoulders, some from head to toe, representing mainly young women, modest or well-to-do, posing or taken from life, with expressive faces or taking care of children, but also men in toga, in military dress, in costume or modestly dressed. The style is rather academic, the perspective and the play of light and shadow are well mastered. The bodies and faces are also well proportioned and faithful.
