‎ Planche figurant deux roses des vents, gravée dans un bel encadrement de guirlandes de fleurs et instruments d'astronomie, accompagnée de deux grandes colonnes de texte. Issue de la première édition de l'Atlas méthodique et élémentaire de géographie et d'histoire publié par Desnos à Paris en 1761. Claude Buy de Mornas fut géographe du roi Louis XVI et du Duc de Berry. Il contribua à faciliter l'étude de cette science au XVIIIe siècle. Bel exemplaire finement aquarellé à l'époque.‎
