1941 (1st ed.) 239 p., 445 text figures, paperbound (original printed covers). Ex library of the French Lepidopterologist Philippe Darge (1933-2023). Previous owner’s name, else a very good copy.

1959 (2nd ed.) [2], 298 p., 445 text figures, publisher's grey printed cloth. Contains more species than the 1941 first edition, and an updated taxonomy. With many detailed drawings, and keys. This version is slightly larger (broader margins) than the simultaneously published Faculté des Sciences edition. Included in the rear is a list of all the published works in the series "Faune de France". Added: some keys to Scarabaeoidea in photocopy. Cloth a bit rubbed at lower front edge, a few, mostly marginal annotations in pencil by someone who clearly knew his scarabs. Otherwise a good copy.
