Imprimerie Camis 1900 In-4 à l’italienne 30 x 40 cm. Reliure cartonnée vert foncé de l’éditeur, dos percaline muet, titre doré sur le premier plat, superbe page de titre polychrome signée Tamagno, 7 ff., 53 planches. Couverture d’usage, intérieur frais. Bon exemplaire d’un ouvrage rare.
“Home-Décor”, revue de décoration qui parut entre 1898 et 1900, commercialisait des panneaux artistiques pour la décoration intérieure : reproductions d’oeuvres classiques (Boucher, Greuze etc.) ou contemporaines (Cabanel, Flameng, Abbéma) imprimées sur des supports variés selon le procédé “Camis”. Tamagno (1851-1933), était un artiste peintre italien et un affichiste, actif en France entre 1880 et 1914. Travaillant surtout avec l'imprimerie parisienne de Victor Camis située 58 rue Saint-Sabin, il reçut un grand nombre de commandes et exécuta entre 1890 et 1900, plus d'une centaine d'affiches d'une qualité graphique remarquable.
