Introduction de Benito Mussolini et nombreuses photographies en noir et blanc, la plupart de M. Ficarelli présentées dans une mise en page ou elles se mélangent à des illustrations en couleurs. Plaquette promotionnelle pour la cinquième édition de la foire commerciale de Bari. Textes en italien, anglais, allemand et français. La foire du Levant (Fiera del Levante) est l'une des principales foires du bassin méditerranéen. Elle a été instituée en 1929 par la municipalité, l'administration provinciale et la Chambre de commerce de Bari, la première édition s'étant tenue l'année suivante. La foire se tient en septembre chaque année avec une interruption pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, de 1940 à 1946. En moyenne, la foire accueille 5 000 exposants de nationalités diverses, pour presque 2 millions de visiteurs. C'est la foire historique la plus connue du grand public, une des plus importantes en Europe, elle se tient dans une zone spéciale de 300 000 m2 au nord-ouest de la ville, près de la pointe de Saint-Catalde, la bordure ouest du nouveau port. La foire cherche également à promouvoir les échanges entre l'Est et l'Ouest, dont Bari est traditionnellement un point de rencontre.
