1866-1867 122, iv p., several illustrations, 4to, contemporary pebbled boards. Gilt title on spine. This is the complete second volume, including a loose leaf printed addition/correction note. The first issue of this monthly (published in 1865) was subtitled "Published...for gratuitous distribution among farmers and agriculturists. Remaining, to a large extent, a philantropical publication it folded after two volumes because of lack of funds. With the autograph of the entomologist Osten Sacken and an old stamp in the first page top margin. Spine missing. Internally a good copy. Rare.
