With a nice author’s dedication to Dr. Ludwig Lorenz Ritter von Liburnau (1856-1943). Some pencil annotations. Library stamps, else very good copy. Rare.A extensive and thorough revision which includes the description and illustration of new species. The author, Franz Friedrich Kohl (1851-1924) worked on mammals too, but Hymenoptera were his speciality and this is his magnum opus.

Published in the Museum's Annalen, with a small, unrelated paper in the rear of the second volume. Uncut. Old stamp on front wrappers and title pages, otherwise a very good clean set. Rare.
