‎New York Peter Smith 1933 1 vol. relié in-8, cartonnage illustré, jaquette illustrée, non paginé, 144 gravures sur bois à pleine page. Sixième tirage de septembre 1933. Premier roman graphique sans parole illustré par la gravure sur bois du dessinateur américain Lynd Kendall Ward (1905-1985), fortement influencé par le travail de Masereel. Dos de la jaquette un peu usé, avec de petits manques en tête et en pied. Légère décoloration de la tranche supérieure. Sinon exemplaire frais, peu courant avec sa belle jaquette illustrée. Exemplaire provenant de la bibliothèque d'Alain Resnais.‎
