Serge, écrivain et dessinateur, grand connaisseur du cirque (sur lequel il écrivit de nombreux ouvrages), tint pendant les années 1950 la rubrique du music-hall, des variétés et du cirque dans l'hebdomadaire les " Nouvelles Littéraires ". Sa collaboration n'était pas permanente mais avait lieu quand l'actualité de ces spectacles populaires le justifiait. Ses articles paraissaient toujours en dernière page, illustrés d'un dessin - souvent une caricature - dont il était également l'auteur.

Het oeuvre van El Greco (1541-1614) is eeuwenlang in de vergeethoek geraakt. In 1908 plaatste de kunsthistoricus Manuel Bartolome Cossio hem echter weer helemaal op de voorgrond.
