Edizione del 1807 del celebre poema eroicomico di Perlone Zipoli pseudonimo anagrammatico del pittore poeta e scrittore Lorenzo Lippi (1606-1665). Note a cura di Luigi Portirelli. L'opera, pubblicata per la prima volta nl 1676 è un poema comico ricco di motti e proverbi fiorentini ed ebbe un notevole successo. Firma di possesso nella prima carta bianca del poeta e letterato Achille Monti (1825-1879). Nota manoscritta della stessa mano all'ultima carta bianca: 23 aprile 1851. Ritratto dell'autore in antiporta. In ottime condizioni. Copertina in mezza pergamena con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in ottime condizioni con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni. Pagine in ottime condizioni con rare fioriture. In 8. cm 21x14 cm. Pp. XXXI+(1)+573+(1). The work, published for the first time in 1676 is a comic poem rich of florentine sayings and proverbs and had an immediate success. Signature in the first blank page by the poet and man of letetrs Achille Monti (1825-1879). Handwritten note of the same hand in the last blank page: 23 aprile 1851. Portrait of the author in the frontspice. In very good conditions. Half parchment cover with gilted title and decorations in the spine in very good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities.
