L'opera, pubblicata per la prima volta nl 1676 è un poema comico ricco di motti e proverbi fiorentini ed ebbe un notevole successo. Firma di possesso nella prima carta bianca del poeta e letterato Achille Monti (1825-1879). Nota manoscritta della stessa mano all'ultima carta bianca: 23 aprile 1851. Ritratto dell'autore in antiporta. In ottime condizioni. Copertina in mezza pergamena con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in ottime condizioni con lievi usure ai margini e dorso.
