Vascellini, mentre le 16 tavole di ritratti f.t. che adornano l'opera, sono inc. in rame da Alessandro Mochetti. Fra i greci: Polignoto Tasio, Zeusi, Parrasio, Apelle, Protogene Caunio, Timante, Melanto, Pausia, Nicia, Atenione, Timomaco, e altri. Fra i romani: Fabio, Quinto Pedio, Ludio, Agatarco, e altri. Scritte ed illustrate da R. Dati, Accademico della Crusca. Tipogr. della Minerva, Padova, 1821. In-8 p. (mm. 227x145), bross. orig., pp. (4),270,(2). Le 4 "Vite" (di Zeusi, Parrasio, Apelle e Protogene) sono introdotte da un Elogio dell'A. (scritto da G. Pelli) e dai "Proemii" del p. della Valle. Fedele ristampa dell'ediz. milanese del 1806 (della Tipogr. de' Classici Italiani) ch'è la più ricca di ogni altra finora impressa. Così Gamba,427. Esempl. con barbe, ben conservato.
