En Amberes, Marcos-Miguel Bousquet y Compania, 1751-1756. 16 volumes in-12, demi-veau brun à coins, dos lisses ornés de filets, étoiles et titre dorés, étiquettes de titre marron, de tomaison vertes, tranches jaunes. Rares rousseurs, papier parfois légèrement bruni.
Portrait gravé de Felipe Quinto Rex de la Espanas, gravé par Daudet, en frontispice du premier volume. Mariana écrivit cette Hisoire de l'Espagne en latin (de 1592 à 1605), mais elle eut tant de succès de par la rigueur de ses recherches, sa sagacité et son style qu'il fut poussé à la traduire en espagnol.
