The text of this edition is attributed (without stringent proof) to the English Dominican Trivetus (Nicolaus Triveth) (Norfolk 1250-1334) who had strong ties with Oxford and theology faculty in Paris. The subtitle page of the second part mentions explicitly the Louvain theologist Augustinus Hunnaeus (Bruges 1520 - 1577) He is a lesser known but very important theologian of Louvain University who is credited with forging a link between theology and law.The approbatio of this book refers explicitly to Louvain: date 27th jan. 1575, signed by Cornelius Reynari of Gouda and Johannes Molanus of Louvain. At the end of this book is published a catechism with an approbatio dated 1570 and signed by e.g. Arias Montanus and Robertus Malcotius. . USTC mentions only 4 copies in Anglo-saxon libraries. It is unclear why European libraries were left out. Louvain Theology Faculty has a copy.
