(4) pp ( preface) + 10 engravings (numbered and signed in pencil by the artist) + 26 reproductions of drawings, all etchings protected with a serpent. wich contains also the printed page numbering. Very fine copy notwithstanding a slightly soiled box and a few tiny foxing spots at the insite of the front cover. Printed in 270 copies all on Arches paper. This is copy copy 29/250. Very fine copy of one of the major works of this Belgian etcher, considered one of the greatests of his generation . He was born in Ghent (Gent-Gand) Flanders in 1870 , where he died in 1945. His native city , with its many impressive mediaeval buildings , became a permanent source of inspiration for his virtuous engravings.

Sous chemise imprimée et dans un emboitage plein papier. Emboîtage légèrement usé sinon très bel état, en particulier les eaux-fortes. Tirage limité à 270 ex. Un des 250 exemplaires numérotés sur papier d'Arches. Envoi autographe signé de Jules de Bruycker au journaliste et écrivain belge Lucien Solvay (1851-1950).
