Complete, no provenance indication. Bound in full supple vellum with yabbed edges. First edition of the translation by Harduyn in Dutch of the most influential emblem books ever printed.: Pia desideria by H. Hugo. Harduyn translated the Latin of Hugo into Dutch renaissancistic texts along counter reformation lines. The plates are by Boetius à Bolswert. See De Vries N° 129, Landwehr N°357, Funck pp.338."‎
