.: Anvers ( Antwerpen ) , chez Christophle Plantin, Imprimeur du Roy, 1571, in-4°, 217 x 145 mm, (16)nn pp + 340 pp +(1)(bl) + (24) nn pp ( 20 indices, 2 errata, 2 bl.), complete, collation identical to Voet nr. 1841. Bound in contemporary full vellum, traces of ties, vellum a bit soiled and with some brown stains, interior clean. Good copy of the rare first edition of Pierre d'Oudegerst's chronicle of Flanders, written and published in french. The book is published by the Plantin Press but printed by an Antwerp collegue of Plantin , as indicated on page ****4 and as explained in the commentary by prof. Voet (item 1841). This collegue was Iehan Withage ( or Jan Withagen or Verwithagen). The Plantin Press was at this time engaged in the publication of the Polyglot Bible.

(8 ff.: la feuille de titre avec vignette gravée de l’éditeur - l’épistre à l’empereur - epistre aux estatz de Flandre - prologue - extrraict du privilège) + 10 ff.: Table des argumentz + 1 f. errata + 1 f. blanche) + 340 ff. (donc 680 pages), reliure d’époque plein veau, dos à quatre nerfs, pièce de titre en maroquin rouge, entre-nerfs richement oné d’or.
