Paris, Jean Baptiste Coignard, 1716, 2 vols in-4°, 24,5 x 18,5 cm, (34) nn pp + cxxviii pp + 545 pp + (7) nn pp ; (6) nn pp + xxiv pp + 648 pp + (4)nn pp ( complete), bound in contemporary full calf, carefully rebacked, with on the four covers the gilt supra libro of Christ Church College Dublin, also a small rubberstamp of the college on the title page, bindings still in good shape nothwithstanding the expertly rebacking, interiors fine. Important work of the French orientalist Renaudot on the liturgy of the Eastern churches (Coptic, Syrian, Egyptian (Alexandria), Ethiopia....), some of the text is printed in two colums, Latin and Greek. The author was one of the greatest orientalists of his time and one of the prominent men of the reign of king Louis XIV (see Catholic Encyclopedia)."‎
