First Edition. Small colour birthday card, with gilt full-page illustrations, to front and back. These are the same illustrations as the Spring and Summer seasons of the calendars attributed to the illustrator Kate Greenaway, but we are not sure these illustrations are hers. They are beautiful though! Circa 1878. Inside is a hand written birthday message, dated 1879, and a printed poem by Horatius Bonar. In fine condition. 100 x 70 mm (4 x 2Ÿ inches)
