Dimension extérieur : 50,8 x 68,5 cm. Cuvette : 49,5 x 62,5 cm. Dréssée par Guillaume Delisle sur la description de Rodrigo Mendez Sylua et sur diverses relations et cartes manuscrites ou imprimées. Rectifiées par les observations astronomiques le tout augmenté et vérifié en 1765 par Philippe Buache de l'académie royale des finances. Carte en bon état général, envoi soigné.

Guillaume Delisle, dit « Delisle l'Ainé », né à en 1675 et mort dans cette même ville en 1726, est un géographe et carthographe français, élève de Cassini. Philippe Buache, né en 1700 et mort en 1773 est un géographe français, membre de l'académie royale des sciences.

Carte géographique de format 28,5/34,5 cm (pour la planche), 19,5/15,5 cm (pour la carte). Issue du rare atlas de Briet : "Theatrum geographique Europae veteris", Pierre Mariette, 1653. Papier légèrement jauni, mouillure sur la droite de la planche, bon état général, bel exemplaire. Frais d'envoi 7 euros sur la France, 15,05 UE et Suisse, entre 19,60 et 26,70 euros pour le reste du monde, à spécifier selon zone.
