Léo Larguier (1878-1950), écrivain. Manuscrit autographe signé, 1927, 113p in-4. Manuscrit autographe de sa biographie du peintre Camille Corot. Titrée ici La Vie gris-perle du père Corot, elle sera publiée en 1931 sous le titre Le Père Corot (Paris, Firmin-Didot). Le manuscrit est composé d'un titre avec au dos la liste des ouvrages de Larguier, un feuille avec la dédicace à Paul Boncour et 110 pages numérotées de 1 à 114 (manquent 35, 96,97 et 98). Ce manuscrit fit partie de la succession Léo Larguier dont la vente eut lieu le 4 octobre 2006 (Paris, Alde, n°3) et avait déjà les manques signalés. On joint 4p autographes de notes sur Corot : -Trois feuillets sur lesquels il a recopié l'interview de Corot publiée en 1863 (J. Graham, Un étranger au salon). -Un feuillet sur lequel il a recopié deux anecdotes rapportées dans Le paysagiste aux champs de Frédéric Henriet (Paris, Lévy, 1876. p.64-65). Beau manuscrit. [359-2]
