L'AVANT-SOMMEIL, avec 11 gravures originales de Henri Goetz
Paris Coprah 3 1979 in 8 (24,5x18,5) 1 volume broché en faux-feuillets sous couverture imprimée à rabats, non paginé, étui. Tirage limité, celui-ci un des 50 exemplaires du tirage de tête sur vélin d'arches, justifié et signé au colophon par l'auteur et l'illustrateur. Ce seul tirage de tête renferme les 11 gravures originales, ici numérotées, signées et légendées au crayon par Henri Goetz, dont 4 gravures en couleurs (4 of which are printed in color). Notre exemplaire est enrichi en outre d'un curieux texte manuscrit de 5 lignes signé des initiales de l'auteur, précédant un dessin original au crayon signé par Goetz. L'avant-sommeil est une partie du ''Registre'', ou Journal sans je, tenu par Jean Guichard-Meili entre 1965 et 1970. Henri Goetz avait aimé les ''Récits abrégés'', illustrés par Veira da Silva. C'est pouquoi il a voulu graver pour l'avant-sommeil les 11 planches qui enrichissent les exemplaires de tête (sic). Goetz, Henri-Bernard (New-York 1909- Paris 1989), initiateur de la technique de gravure au carborundum (Goetz invented the carborundum technique).
