Un volume petit in-8°, couverture semirigide rempliée éditeur, édition originale. Le premier plat est illustré par un autoportrait de J. DUBUFFET. 23I pages + table des matières. Avec de très nombreuses reproductions en noir d’oeuvres de Jean DUBUFFET (1901-1985) . Celui-ci fut un des plus grands artistes français du XXème siècle. Peintre, sculpteur , il fut aussi le théoricien de l’ “ART BRUT”, un nouveau style d’art inspiré de l’expression de certains malades mentaux ou créateurs très marginaux. Gaétan PICON (1915-1976), qui dirigea les Éditions Mercure de France, essayiste et critique d’art renommé, lui consacre dans ce livre une superbe étude. TRES BON ÉTAT. [50375]
