Bound in in volume three is: a copy of Pierre Bonnet’s ‘’En marge de Bibliographia Araneorum’’ (1961), in which in 16 pages he presents five poems on the subject. A good set.Pierre Bonnet (1897-1990) is mostly known for his magnum opus the ''Bibliographia Araneorum'' which he published privately in only about 300 copies (of which Bonnet says that only 242 are complete!). This work totals 6498 pages and contains a wealth of biographical (first volume) and bibliographical information (the second and main volume). The third volume gives a list of all known generic (2524) and specific names (23068) and the conclusions, including a curious, sometimes hilarious, but interesting description of the hardships and trouble Bonnet went through writing, publishing and selling this work. At the end of volume 3 there is also a list of all the whereabouts of the sold copies. Four were sold to the Netherlands including this one.

An enormous standard work on the false click beetles, Eucnemidae, by Vicomte (Viscount) Victor Henry Achard de Bonvouloir (1839-1914). Very well illustrated with fine illustrations and with the inclusion of numerous new species. It was published in parts as supplement to the Annales de Société Entomologique de France, but apparently complete copies were published separately (like this one). Uncut. The bookblock is far to heavy for the binding, and therefore the spine is split in two places, Two repaired tiny tears in title-page and first page, one plate with some very light foxing, otherwise a good clean copy with bright plates.
