‎Maen Florin (geboren 1954, woont en werkt in Gent) is een beeldhouwer die werkt met klassieke methodes. Ze boetseert, mouleert en giet haar beelden af in rubber, epoxy, polyurethaan. Daarna wordt elk beeld afzonderlijk bewerkt. Compromisloos plaatst zij haar beelden in een schemerzone: tussen humor en tragiek, tussen vrolijkheid en tristesse, tussen robuust en fragiel. Zo ontstaan beelden die enerzijds uit een sprookje lijken te komen, onschuldig en na ef, en anderzijds uit een nachtmerrie opdoemen. De komende twee maanden staat het werk van kunstenares Maen Florin centraal in Park ter Beuken, Lokeren. De kunstenares maakte keramieken koppen voor de verschillende plekjes in het park. Maen Florin staat bekend om ?haar koppen? waarmee ze al overal in Europa stond. Elke kop straalt iets anders uit, elke gezichtsuitdrukking verwijst naar een gevoel dat bij de kijker opgewekt wordt.‎
