‎"Philippe-Auguste Benoît-d'Entrevaux est né en 1855 à Saint-Priest, département de l'Ardèche.Après des études à Lyon, il vit sur son domaine d’Entrevaux près de Privas, attentif à conserver le patrimoine ancestral de sa famille dont son château, où avait logé Richelieu lors du siège de Privas en 1629.Il se passionne pour des recherches sur l’histoire de l’Ardèche. Il collabore dès sa création en 1893 à la Revue du Vivarais et en devient le directeur. Il y publie pendant vingt ans un grand nombre de notices bibliographiques, de monographies et d’articles, traitant de l’histoire et du patrimoine ardéchois.Il décède en 1916 à Saint-Priest (Ardèche)."Ray K5* ‎

Het vervaardigen van barakken voor de Duitse troepen en dertig schijnvliegtuigen (om de geallieerde piloten te misleiden gedurende de bombardementen) brak de Kortrijkse industrieel zuur op. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd hij veroordeeld wegens economische collaboratie. In 1946, net voor de uitspraak, schreef Jozef De Coene zijn visie neer. Die tekst wordt nu voor het eerst gepubliceerd. ‎
