Importante édition grecque établie par le grand philologue allemand Johann Gottlob Schneider (1750-1822). On trouve à la suite la traduction du grec en latin par le poète David Peifer (1530-1602). On sait peu de choses sur l'auteur des Halieutiques, mais il ne faut pas le confondre avec Oppien de Syrie, auteur des Cynégétiques. Bon exemplaire (dos très lég. frotté). Good copy (spine very slightly rubbed).
