Edition originale illustrée de 43 planches gravées par Seymour et Phiz dont un frontispice et un titre-frontispice. Les planches sont légendées, le titre gravé est en second état avec le nom de Tony Weller au-dessus du porche. Notre exemplaire possède plusieurs caractéristiques de l’originale, entre autres :- note de bas de page en page 9- signe E, page 25- pas de parenthèse, page 34- "ruined wall" en page 43- signe X2, page 261- "holding" au lieu de "hodling", page 260- "Samuel" à la place de "Weller" en page 278"- "inbe-licate" au lieu de "inde-licate", page 341- "S. Veller" fautif, page 342Exemplaire complet mais très modeste à tous points de vue : reliure, gravures massicotées, certaines brunies avec rousseurs, les pages de texte sont restées fraîches car imprimées sur un papier de meilleure qualité. En l’état, pour le plaisir de lire dans l’édition originale.‎

Édition originale illustrée de 43 planches gravées par Seymour et Phiz dont un frontispice et un titre-frontispice.
