Le premier ouvrage (Tachard) contient 1 page de titre, 6 pages d'Epitre au Roy, 227 pages de texte, 10 pages de table des matières, 2 pages de Harangue des Ambassadeurs de Siam dans la dernière audience qu' ils ont eue du Roy en 1686. Il est enrichi par ailleurs d'un frontispice et de 22 planches illustrées, la plupart dépliantes. Le deuxième ouvrage (Gervaise) contient 1 page de titre, 6 pages d'Adresse au Père de Lachaise, Confesseur du Roy, 2 pages d'avertissement du libraire et 280 pages de texte, sans illustration.
Bel exemplaire ce ces 2 récits de voyages au Siam et à Macaçar, effectués par les Ambassadeurs du Roi Louis XIV, dans les années 1685-1687.
