Cat. présentant 134 masques et costumes transmis par la famille Rokuro Umewaka, une ancienne famille de Tamba Sarugaku et de la prestigeuse école Kanze (Kanze-Ruy) de Shite-kata.Texte en japonais. Seules les légendes sont traduites en anglais.
EUROPALIA voit le jour en 1969, avec pour objectif de présenter les arts et cultures des pays européens en Belgique. En 1989, pour les vingt ans du festival, l’organisation décide de s’ouvrir à des pays non européens. Un festival est ainsi consacré au Japon (source Europalia).
