Edizione del 1692 di questa opera letteraria della scrittrice francese Madeleine de Scudery (1607-1701), una delle massime esponenti del preziosismo. Molti dei suoi scritti vennero pubblicati in forma anonima o a nome del fratello Georges de Scudery che non esitò a prendersene la paternità. Celebre fu il suo salotto assiduamente frequentato da personaggi come Montausier, La Rochefoucauld, Madame de la Fayette, Madame de Sevignè, Conrart, Chapelain , Pomponne e Pellisson. L'opera, pubblicata per la prima volta nel 1688 contiene diversi scritti dell'autrice che spaziano tra soggetti morali e letterari inframezzati da componimenti poetici. Bella incisione in antiporta che mostra l'autrice in segno di riverenza nei confronti del Re Luigi XIV in quanto parte della sua Corte. Tomo secondo legato insieme con numerazione continua. His salotto was very famous and rich of people as Montausier, La Rochefoucauld, Madame de la Fayette, Madame de Sevignè, Conrart, Chapelain , Pomponne e Pellisson. The work, published for the first time in 1688 contains different writings of the author.
