Portrait en frontispice. 2 ex-libris étiquettes armoriés (intérieur du 1er plat et garde marbrée) : " Frédéric Ouvry" et "Lieut-General Fox Pitt-Rivers". Au premier feuillet de garde blanc, ex-dono manuscrit signé de Frédéric Ouvry, et devise manuscrite à l'encre " Isnardi. Bien connaître avant que d'aimer". Exemplaire entièrement interfolié, avec de nombreux noms ajoutés, 3 coupures de presse collées et un petit travail original avec 2 blasons peints, pour le Prince Lubomirski ( famille royale de Pologne).‎

‎ 3 feuillets fortement jaunis ( dus à des coupures de presse collées), trace de mouillure en marge de 2 feuillets, marge interne du feuillet de garde renforcée, les 3 premiers feuillets sont un peu déreliés avec petites piqûres ; reliure très frottée avec épidermures aux mors, coupes et coins.(Reu-Bur) ‎

Nice copy, notwithstanding a weak inner joint. No library markings, except a tipped in ex-libris on the first paste-down. Very early example of the use of chromolithography to illustrate a western illustrated manuscript in fac-simile..‎
