Christopher Tordai, journaliste et photographe indépendant, passe la plus grande partie de son temps au Moyen-Orient, dont il est un spécialiste reconnu. Il vit actuellement à Jérusalem, où il est observateur pour l’Organisation des Nations Unies. Il collabore à plusieurs revues internationales et a publié de nombreux livres de photos, consacrés notamment à la Palestine et aux pays de l’ex-Union Soviétique. Entre ses voyages, il revient régulièrement à Chausey, qu’il photographie inlassablement depuis son plus jeune âge. Il est l’auteur de ce premier livre de photos consacré à l’archipel.
