‎ALLE zelfportretten van Lucian Freud nu in n boek verzameld. In 1964 gaf Lucian Freud (1922-2011) zijn studenten aan het Norwich College of Art een opdracht: om naakte zelfportretten te schilderen die 'onthullend, sprekend, geloofwaardig ... echt zonder schaamte' waren. Het was een advies dat de kunstenaar zelf later ook zou volgen in zijn vele zelfportretten.
