‎ Marseille, directeur: Jean Ballard. Un volume 16,5x25,5cm agrafé, de 120 pages. Exemplaire en bon état. D’abord intitulés Fortunio, Les Cahiers du Sud furent fondés à la veille de la première guerre mondiale par Marcel Pagnol et Gabriel d’Aubarède. En 1925 la revue devient Les Cahiers du Sud, animée par Jean Ballard jusqu’en 1966 (391 numéros). Ce fut la seule revue provinciale à tenir la dragée haute à ses rivales parisiennes au premier rang desquelles La Nouvelle Revue Française. ‎
