Au début de 1965, le photographe du magazine LIFE, Bill Ray passera plusieurs semaines sur les routes de l'ouest américain avec les Hells Angels. Témoin de leur vie quotidienne, il fit de nombreuses photos, mais George Hunt, à lépoque rédacteur en chef de LIFE en interdira la publication.

Amongst them were portraits of Benjamin Franklin, who was in France in 1776 on a critical diplomatic mission. This volume describes Nini's earliest plaster medallions and moulds, followed by a detailed catalogue of those in terra cotta, including a few of the frequently encountered aftercasts. All the Franklin portraits are illustrated. Includes an annotated bilbiography.
