Hegi (cm. 19,2 x 27,4, più i larghi margini) da disegno dal vero di Johann Jacob Wetzel, stampata a colori (è posta sotto passe-partout). Cfr. Como e Lecco nelle antiche stampe, n. 70: COMO (titolo in basso nel m.). Veduta della città presa dalla parte di Villa Olmo. La stampa è firmata: in basso a s.: "Dessiné d'apres nature par J. Wetzel" e a d.: "Gravé par F. Hegi. "Molto rara", fa parte di una splendida serie di acquatinte pubblicata a Zurigo nel 1822 da Orell Fuessli ad illustrazione del "Voyage pittoresque au lac de Come": i disegni sono di Johann Jacob Wetzel (1781-1834) mentre le incisioni sono opera di diversi autori tra cui Franz Hegi (1774-1850). Questa serie, di cui fanno parte numerose altre vedute riguardanti diverse località del lago (in totale 15), è ritenuta da molti critici la più bella tra quelle dedicate al Lago di Como. Essa è a sua volta parte di una serie di volumi dedicati dagli stessi autori ai laghi svizzeri e padani. Tutte le stampe di questa serie riportano in basso a s.: "Lago di Como" e in basso a d.: "Publié par Orell Fussli & Comp. à Zurich". Esemplare ben conservato.
