Le plus beau "livre d'artiste" de son temps et un chef-d'œuvre de l'édition d'Avant-Garde de la première moitié du XXe siècle. Illustrated with 22 pochoirs, 6 with line-block reproductions of ink drawings. The colourful Fernand Léger compositions, combining Cubism and Futurism, create a truly captivating work. The colours were directly applied with watercolour through the technique of the manual pochoir. A excellent copy of the most beautiful French artist's books of its era and one of key illustrated books of the twentieth century. Condition report: The book is in its original condition in excellent condition, the cover is nice, the hinges and the spine excellent, tiny wears.
