Probably a pirated chinese edition from the forties. 1 volume in-12, xv-306 pp., mahogany paper hardback with a kraft paper dustjacket, flat spine, tears around the edges of the dustjacket, one tear on the spine, one Chinese stamp on the title page, yellow pages, enriched with a foldable map of China, book in good condition. This edition has no illustrations.
