‎Peking, Published by S. Yamamoto, 1909. 1 large album, landscape format (18*27 cm) with 100 full page photographic illustrations of Peking monuments, scenes and people, with captions in chinese and english. The album has his original silk cover, a very good copy.‎

‎A very precious document on Peking, at the turn of 20th century, edited and published by the famous japanese photographer Sanshichiro Yamamoto who owned a photo studio in Peking during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His albums and postcards were published mostly for the increasing european tourism in China.‎

‎Peking, Published by the Camera Craft Co., no date (1915). 1 volume, quarto oblong (28,5*23 cm), photo album of Peking, China, illustrated with 12 photographic reproductions, each 19 by 14 cm on 6 individual pages. Photos include scenes from the Summer Palace to the Great Wall. Covers are creased around edges and show some tears. All photos are in fine condition, no stains tears or creases. All photos are tipped in at tops only and have onionskin paper between pages, overall a good copy of this scarce album.‎


‎One volume of Scenes in Peking Series (No I) a rare collector's item on Peking in the twenties. J.D. Zumbrun was a famous photographer in Peking, owner of the Camera Craft Company. ‎
