.: Paris, chez Charles-Antoine Jombert, 1758, in-folio, (i-ii)nn pp + (9) pp (numbered...6-9) + (1)(bl) with engraved armorial headpiece by Prevost after Hallé + double-page plan of Rouen by Canu + 5 plans and elevations (of which 2 are double-page) of the Hôtel de Ville. Bound in contemporary full calf, marbled end papers, gilt edges, with the supra libro of Trudaine de Montigny (Intendant des Finances). Binding sound but with some stains, rebacked, and leather unevenly coloured. Interior fine and crisp. This is the only edition of Le Carpentier's project for a grand classical town hall in the centre of Rouen which never progressed beyond the foundation stone. Interesting is also the double-page plan of Rouen with the proposed new outlay of streets to accomodate the new building. Berliner Ornamentstichkatalog Nr. 2514 , not in OCLC or NUC..
