All published (5 fascicules) of this rare and monumental work. No copy recorded in the cat. Bibliothque Nationale. The work was realized trhrough the combined effort of the best dermatologists of that period in France. Together with over 20 entries in G&M. The unsurpassed chromolithographs in this work were made by Lemercier, the unrivalled master. The aim of this work was to provide a diagnostic tool with suggestions for a rational treatment of the various cutaneous diseases. The material presented was based on the rich collection of the museum of l'Hpital Saint-Louis, the finest in the world on the subject. The Muse, founded in 1866 started with the modest collection Devergie of watercoulours and photographs. By 1895 the collection became the most important in the world. The most important part of the collectiom are the MOULAGES (three demensional coloured mouldings). The master mouleur was M. Baretta, a highly gifted artist. His first moulage was created in 1867, and the end of 1894 he had created 1800
