Y. and hasten to extend most cordial greetings to you and your husband from our friend Dobo [l’agent littéraire Frank Dobo]. He asked me to telephone you (...) but it is too damned awkward for me to telephone in french (...) My second novel “Black Spring” will be out in a month or so and I will send you a copy promptly.”- Lettre à Jean PAULHAN dactylographiée signée du 24 fév. 1939. 5 lignes sur feuillet in-4. “En anglais parce que je suis fatigue... The review I wished to have back was not the Delta which you sent me, but “Twice a Year”. Herewith a copy of an abbreviated biographical note which I was obliged to write for an English editor. Thought you might like to have it against the day when my book comes out in French.” Jointe à cette lettre : 3 pp. dactylographiées in-4 avec corrections autogr. titrées “Biographical data - Henry Miller”.- Prospectus annoté imprimé au recto, illustré en bleu d’aquarelles de Miller, texte en anglais au sujet d’une exposition des aquarelles d’Henry Miller à la fondation Bridgestone de Tokyo. C’est la traduction en anglais par Shigeo Kitano d’un texte en japonais de Ichiro Fukuzawa. Observation autographe paraphée d’H. Miller en tête du document “traduction loufoque mais authentique !”- Prospectus annoté par H. Miller. Document imprimé de 6 pp. in-8 illustré d’un voilier, il s’agit d’un tiré à part du Circle Magazine, un article de Miller au sujet de “Quest” par l’écrivain marin G. Dibbern. Note bilingue autographe signée de Miller datée du 4 janv. 46 en tête du document “Published also by John Lane, the Bodley Head, London. L’auteur est à 2 Corry avenue, Napier, New Zealand maintenant”. Joint à l’article se trouve un f. in-8 reproduction d’un passeport de citoyen du monde au nom de Dibbern.Joint : 2 coupures de presse concernant Miller.‎
