‎ Première édition en français du "Zellbildung und Zelltheilung". Elle a été corrigée et augmentée sur la première allemande (1875). L'auteur nous dit dans sa préface qu'il a pour cette édition redessiné deux planches et ajouté un nouveau chapitre. Il décrit avec beaucoup de précision dans son ouvrage les processus que comporte la division des cellules."Strasburger clarified the phenomena of cell division and the role of the nucleus and chromosomes in heredity. (...) During his twelve years at Jena, Strasburger published his botanical investigations. The development of his cytological observations can be followed in the three editions of his "Zellbildung und Zelltheilung" (1875, 1876, 1880). (...)
