Very fine decorative plates.Beautiful colored lithographic plates of historical military parade, held on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Bern’s entry in the Swiss Confederation. 57 large lithographs by Jenny + ill. title-page, showing historical costumes, armoury, arms, wagons, horses, flags and so on. The subscribers list offers potential buyers 2 different editions: ordinary copies and deluxe copies (so called: Prachtausgabe). Considering the colouring and by comparison with ordinary copies our copy certainly is a ‘deluxe copy’, nicely bound, with orig. printed titlepiece on frontcover. A fine copy.
